Cleanse and Detox Instructions

Your cleanse will be ready at the location, date, and time you selected at checkout. If you need to change anything about your pickup, please email- info@greenbrothersjuice.com.

BEFORE THE CLEANSE

1. 3-5 days before starting your cleanse, try to focus on consuming as many raw fruits and vegetables as possible. Try to avoid sugar and processed food and drink at least 64 oz of water a day. This will prepare your body for your cleanse and help you get the most out of the experience.

DURING THE CLEANSE

1. Make sure you are drinking a juice or smoothie every 2-3 hours.

2. Follow the order of the numbers on the juices or smoothies, we have put these in an order that will best benefit you and make the cleansing experience as enjoyable as possible.

3. Be sure to drink at LEAST 8 oz of water in between each juice or smoothie (this helps with the cleansing process) If you do not like the taste of plain water, add in some lemon juice or soak some fruit in it to infuse it with flavor.

4. We know it’s not easy to cut out caffeine all together but in order to have the most benefits from this cleanse please limit caffeine to 1 black coffee, or plain tea a day. (No dairy creamer, sugar, or sugar substitute in there! It you need a little something in it we recommend a splash of almond milk or coconut milk)

5. Avoid Alcohol, soda, diet soda, and any other liquids that do not come from a fruit or vegetable. Just because it’s a liquid does NOT mean it’s cleansing you.

6. If you are doing a Juice ONLY cleanse- we recommend no vigorous activity. Do some light Yoga or go for a brisk walk.

7. If you are doing the athlete cleanse, you are free to work out for about 1-2 hours a day. Try to plan your workouts so that it will be time for a smoothie right after you finish- this will help repair any muscle breakdown.

AFTER THE CLEANSE

1. PLEASE do not drink alcohol the day you finish your cleanse. You will be a very cheap date.

2. Ease back into eating solid foods, try to stick to mainly raw fruits and vegetables for the first day or 2.

3. IF you jump back in and eat a big greasy meal, you will likely have some GI distress as you just did something amazing for your body so it will likely want to reject the junk.

4. Continue to drink plenty of water (always) but especially the few days following the cleanse.

PLEASE REMEMBER, ALTHOUGH YOU WILL LIKELY LOSE SOME WEIGHT DURING A CLEANSE, WE DO NOT INTEND FOR ANY CLEANSE TO BE A QUICK WEIGHT LOSS PLAN. THESE ARE MEANT TO REST YOUR BODY, CUT BACK ON CRAVINGS, AND HELP YOUR BODY RUN MORE EFFICIENTLY. IF YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU SHOULD FINISH YOUR CLEANSE FEELING ENERGIZED, RENEWED, AND RESET. HAPPY CLEANSING!!
